Salsa Bar
Ingredients
  • 2 cups white corn tortilla chips
  • 2 cups blue corn tortilla chips
  • 2 cups guacamole, premade from deli
  • 1 cup salsa verde, Herdez
  • 1 cup mild salsa, Herdez
  • 1 cup medium salsa, Herdez
  • 1 cup hot salsa, Herdez
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • 1 jalapeno, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup cilantro leaves
Directions
  • Arrange chips, avocados, guacamole and salsa on platter or wooden cheese board. Garnish with lime, peppers and cilantro, if desired.

Chicken & Guacamole Dip
Ingredients
  • 1 pkg taco seasoning
  • 1 box Minute Rice
  • 1 pkg shredded chicken
  • 1 pkg Southwest salsa
  • 1 pkg guacamole
  • 1 bag Siete tortilla chips
Directions
  • Read and follow user’s manual instructions for the provided microwave and rice cooker.
  • Following Minute Rice directions, cook with a 1:1 rice and water ratio.
  • Add water, taco seasoning, rice, and as much chicken that will fit comfortably into the rice cooker and cook according to rice cooker manual instructions.
  • Stir and fluff cooked rice and chicken.
  • Stir salsa into the rice mixture and mix thoroughly.
  • Place 2-3 chips into sampling dish and top with rice mixture.
  • Top with a dollop of guacamole and serve.

Chorizo Nachos
Chorizo Nachos
Ingredients
  • 1 package of Cacique Pork Chorizo
  • On The Border Tortilla Chips
  • On the Border Salsa
  • Optional toppings: shredded cheese (or canned nacho cheese), diced tomatoes, sliced jalapenos, sour cream, guacamole, chopped cilantro
Directions
  • Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  • Remove the chorizo from its casing and add it to the skillet. Cook, breaking it up into crumbles with a spoon, until it is browned and cooked through, approximately 8-10 minutes.
  • While the chorizo is cooking, arrange a layer of On The Border Tortilla Chips on a serving platter or individual plates.
  • Once the chorizo is cooked, remove it from the skillet and drain any excess grease on a paper towel.
  • Spoon the cooked chorizo over the tortilla chips, distributing it evenly.
  • Pour salsa over the chorizo and chips. You can use as much or as little salsa as you prefer.
  • If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese or heat up the nacho cheese and spread over the top of the nachos.
  • Add any additional toppings you like, such as diced tomatoes, sliced jalapenos, sour cream, guacamole, or chopped cilantro.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Carnitas and Barbacoa Tostadas
Carnitas and Barbacoa Tostadas
Ingredients
  • 1 package of Del Real Beef Barbacoa and Pork Carnitas
  • Mission Guerrero Tostadas
  • Toppings: diced onions, chopped cilantro, lime wedges
  • Optional toppings: sliced radishes, hot sauce, sour cream, shredded cheese
Directions
  • Heat the Del Real Beef Barbacoa or Pork Carnitas according to the package instructions. This can be done in the microwave or stovetop.
  • Once the barbacoa or carnitas is heated, shred the meat using two forks or your hands.
  • Top each tostada with a generous amount of the shredded barbacoa or carnitas.
  • Add your desired toppings, such as diced onions, chopped cilantro, sliced radishes, a squeeze of lime juice, hot sauce, sour cream, or shredded cheese.
  • Serve the barbacoa or carnitas tacos immediately and enjoy!

7-layer Taco Dip
7-layer Taco Dip
Ingredients
  • 1 Ortega Yellow Taco Dinner Kit (includes taco shells, seasoning mix, and sauce)
  • 1 can (16 ounces) refried beans
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 lb Ground Beef or Turkey
  • Tortilla chips (for dipping)
Directions
  • Brown the ground beef or turkey, adding the seasoning mix, and cooking until well combined.
  • Once the taco meat is cooked, set it aside to cool slightly.
  • In a serving dish or a clear glass bowl, spread a layer of refried beans as the base.
  • Spread a layer of guacamole on top of the refried beans.
  • Mix the Ortega Taco Sauce (included in the dinner kit) with sour cream. Spread this sauce mixture as the next layer.
  • Spoon the cooked taco meat evenly over the sauce layer.
  • Sprinkle diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, and sliced black olives (if using) over the taco meat layer.
  • Garnish with sliced green onions on top.
  • Serve the 7-Layer Taco Dip with broken up taco shells from the taco kit!

Rice and Bean Crunchy Shell Tacos
Ingredients
  • 8 Old El Paso's crunchy taco shells
  • 15-ounces canned refried black beans
  • Ben's Original Spanish Ready Rice
  • 16 ounces shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 2 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, seeded and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
Directions
  • Break Old El Paso's crunchy tacos in half, to make a flat work surface.
  • Stir the refried beans until smooth. Spread 2 tablespoons of refried beans to cover the surface of all your taco shell pieces.
  • Spoon 2 tablespoons of prepared Ben's Original Spanish Ready Rice over the beans.
  • Top each taco evenly with lettuce, cheese, and tomatoes.
  • Sprinkle with cilantro and serve.

Ingredients
  • 1 (7 oz.) package Cacique Shredded 4 Quesos Blend
  • 1/2 package Cacique Beef, Pork or Soy Chorizo
  • Siete tortilla chips
Directions
  • In skillet, cook chorizo until it crumbles, about 10-15 minutes. Drain if necessary.
  • Add shredded cheese; one handful at a time and stir until melted. Serve immediately with Siete tortilla chips.
