The Alice Gu-Zheng Ensemble, a non-profit founded in 2002 by instructors Alice and Kent, includes gu-zheng enthusiasts aged 6 to 65. From 2002 to 2020, it gave 428 public performances across the Washington DC area and was invited to perform at universities, government agencies, libraries, and shopping centers.
The lion dance is an ancient ritual that was practiced centuries and still being used now to bring good luck to any event or occasion. The movements of the Lion Dance are based on Martial arts techniques of driving away evil spirits or negative energy.
